Local Arts Group:

We are keen to set up a Local Arts Group to make a focal point for Art based activities in the borough.

We would be keen to allow our purpose built Gallery to me used as a meeting place for those who are keen to bring ideas into fruition. There would be no charge for this however the hall must be left clean and tidy and a donation toward the gallery's expences would be appreciated..

Suggested ideas:

Turning the whole of the Grand Union Canal from the Thames to the M4 into a non profit art day every first Sunday in the month. Artists and Craftspeople would be entitled to display to the public their artwork in designated pitches. 10% of sales given over to future advertising remaining 90% kept by artist. From discussions with British Waterways this would be encouraged.

Group Mural. Obtain sponsorship from developer to be able to transform a wall or building into a Mural prior to development.
